END OF THE YEAR PARTY
Just a reminder that the end of the year party will be held on Sunday, May 16 from  5 to 8 pm at the fabulous Mexican Hacienda of Donna and José Valdés.  FOMA members and their guests will be treated to a tour of this art-filled home, and will dine on Tom’s Bar-B-Q and Peach Cobbler.  An assortment of desserts, wine and Margaritas complete the menu.  The cost is $15 for FOMA members and $20 for guests.   Don’t forget that FOMA board members and officers are elected at this event.  Don’t miss it!  Contact Ginny Waroblak at 480-948-9108 for questions or information .

BOOK CLUB
There will be no meeting in May, but the new year will begin on Tuesday,  September 21, at 1:00 pm.  The book to be discussed is The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver.  The meeting will take place at Kotzie Wheeler’s home.  If there is a change in venue, Kotzie will contact book club members.

JUNE PLANNING SESSION
There will be a  Board of Directors planning session on Wednesday, June 30, at the home of president Fritz Thomas.  The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm.  The meeting was previously scheduled for Tuesday, June 29.  Please make note of the change.

NEXT YEAR’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS
Beginning in September, the Board of Directors will meet the first Thursday of each month instead of the first Tuesday.   So  - the next Board meeting will be on Thursday, September 2, at the home of Michael Tomlinson.
