Named the single most impressive venue for contemporary art in Arizona by Art in America magazine, the ASU Art Museum is an integral part of the ASU Herberger College of the Arts at Arizona State University.

FOMA has contributed over 22 works of art to the museum including works by Tamayo, Siqueiros, Rivera, and Orozco.

Gregorio Luke is an expert on Mexican and Latin American art and culture. Mr. Luke has presented over 1,000 lectures in museums and universities throughout Mexico, Europe and the United States in institutions such as the Library of Congress, The Smithsonian Institution, the San Diego Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, and Universities such as Harvard, Columbia, UNAM and Georgetown, among others.

Mr. Luke has been a frequent speaker at FOMA presentations.

The mission of the Heard Museum of Native Cultures and Art is to educate the public about the heritage and living cultures and arts of Native peoples, with an emphasis on the peoples of the Southwest.

Eighty-four artifacts including ceramics, wood carvings, baskets, clay sculptures, tapestries, costumes, wall hangings, musical instruments, and other folk art have been given as gifts or purchased with FOMA funds.

Latin American Art Alliance (LAAA) is a Phoenix Art Museum support group dedicated to providing assistance with acquisitions of Latin American art, lectures, tours, and interactions with others sharing an interest in Latin American art.

FOMA's goals, projects, and activities are similar to and in line with those of LAAA.

Part of the Tucson Museum of Art, Latin American Art Patrons (LAAP) is dedicated to the support and expansion of the Museums Latin American Art programming of exhibits, publications, and educational presentations. It also provides acquisition funds to expand the permanent collection which encompasses the pre-Columbian, Spanish Colonial, and contemporary periods, as well as a strong representation of folk and indigenous art.

FOMA's goals, projects, and activities are similar to and in line with those of LAAP.

The members of this national, non-profit organization have broad interests - their passions are eccentric and eclectic.  But all are in the belief that the creative genius of the indigenous people of Mexico melded with the Spanish traditions to produce some of the finest folk art in the world.

Mesa Arts Center is a 212,755-square-foot performing arts, visual arts, and arts education facility, the largest and most comprehensive arts center in the state of Arizona.

FOMA is a sponsor of and participates in MAC's annual Day of the Dead celebration in November.  Works of art from FOMA members' collections will be shown in the FOMA Collects exhibition opening September 11, 2009.

Since 1959, The Phoenix Art Museum, designed by New York architects Tod Williams/Billie Tsien & Associates, has been the home of an outstanding collection of more than 18,000 works of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern and contemporary art, and fashion design.

FOMA has purchased and contributed 23 works of art to the museum including works by Tamayo, Orozco, Zuniga, and Merida.

The Phoenix Public Librarys holdings number over 700,000 titles and 2,000,000 physical items. The Library uses the CARL.Solution online public access catalog and offers 93 subscription databases.

FOMA has contributed over fifty books and tapes including subjects of Mexican history, architecture, arts, crafts, artists, festivals, and collections to the library.

Founded in 1999, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art [SMoCA] is an educational institution dedicated to presenting exhibitions on contemporary and modern art, architecture, and design.

SMOCA has been a frequent collaborator with FOMA for presentations and programs.

First established in 1924 as the Tucson Fine Arts Association, the museum made its home in the Kingan House on Franklin Street in the El Presidio Historic District. In 1954 the association was officially renamed the Tucson Art Center to establish our exhibition and education mission.

FOMA contributed folk art from the De Randolph Folk Art collection in the Palice Pavilion - Art of the Americas at the museum.

This organization's goal is to nourish a greater appreciation of the cultural and spiritual heritages of the Latino and ingigenous peoples of the Americas through the arts.  Xico, Inc. is commited to the development and promotion of Chicano/Latino and Indian artists, encourages self empowerment of our youth and communities, and presents and produces programs reflecting the rich cultural heritage of indigenous people to all audiences.
